How to make Hydrangea and Rose Cupcakes

I have been testing out some new vanilla recipes lately, so I thought I would make a little tutorial for you on how to decorate cupcakes to look like hydrangeas and roses. These are my two favorite flowers so I absolutely loved the way they turned out!

I recently stumbled onto Glory's website Glorious Treats and found a tutorial on her site on how to decorate hydrangea cupcakes and hers turned out gorgeous using blues and purples. It inspired me to make my own and so since I also love green hydrangeas I thought I would give it a shot. I used a different tip than she did but it still works the same.

I have included a tutorial below that I made for you and all you have to have to do is print it and put it in a binder. I would love to hear some feedback on if it helped being able to print it out since it takes so long making them. I would love to be able to make more for inspiration for you if it is helpful.

I hope the directions are clear. It is harder to tell someone how to do something rather than just show them. Maybe I will learn how to make some videos for you since this would make things a lot easier to understand. Good Luck!

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions and photos! I can't wait to try these on my Granddaughter's birthday cake this week. The hydrangeas will look just right with the butterfly theme:)

This is wonderful. Thank you so much for the time and effort it took to make this so simple for me to print and keep. I have made a mess of several attempts at rose cupcakes. This will be most helpful.

These look so stunning - the hydrangea ones in particular are so.. 'wow'!! I would love to give these a go but I already know I don't have the required talents to do this well. I will simply admire how you've done this :)

This what I can call a masterpiece!
You do have the both hands of an artist and a baker, great job!
