Bowling Cake

This cake was made for my brother Michael. He loves to bowl at our local bowling alley, so my Mom decided to throw him a bowling party. 

Everything on the top was molded from fondant and the actual bowling lane was made by mixing brown gel food color with butter extract and then painted on top of the white fondant. 

The letters were made from a cutter. I think these take the longest of anything on the cake (go figure).

I think it turned out cute.
