Valentines Day Cookies
Monday, February 1, 2010 at 09:19AM Lately I have been on a cookie kick, so I thought it would be great to break out some of the cookie cutters I had purchased in the past and make some Valentines cookies. I am definitely an amateur when it comes to cookies, but I have fun trying to come up with some designs. Enjoy!

Get recipe and detailed instructions for your cookies Here. I will show you below how I added popsicle sticks to my cookies:

Roll out your cookies to about 1/2" thickness. Use various cookie cutters to cut out designs in your dough. Insert wooden popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks into the end of the cookie.

What do you do when this happens? See below:

Add a small piece of the cookie dough and press it flat.
Flip the cookie over and bake. No one will ever notice!
To Decorate:

Make royal icing and color it to the shade you would like. I try to work with only three colors or else it gets very time consuming.

Allow all Colors to dry before adding any details to the top!
